Attorney Nicholas Vogelzang
Attorney Nicholas Vogelzang has been working for mesothelioma victims for close to ten years. His interest in that area of law was sparked by his father, Dr. Nicholas Vogelzang, who has also dedicated his career to the treatment of mesothelioma patients. Shortly thereafter he began his career fighting for victims of asbestos-induced disease. After only two years of being a licensed attorney, he helped his client Roby Whittington, obtain a 250 million dollar verdict against U.S. Steel. Mr. Whittington was diagnosed with mesothelioma after working in a steel mill his whole life. At trial it was proven to the jury that U.S. Steel failed to warn Mr. Whittington of the dangers of the asbestos that floated in the air of his workplace. Since that time, Mr. Vogelzang has dedicated his career to defending the rights of mesothelioma victims. He has worked with well over 100 mesothelioma clients and tried cases across the country, including St. Louis, Fort Worth and Chicago. In addition to the Whittington verdict, he has obtained in excess of 250 million dollars in settlements for his clients over the years and will continue to fight for what they have so unfairly lost, the right to a long and healthy life. Mr. Vogelzang previously worked with partner William Connelly at Motley Rice and Richardson Patrick in South Carolina before starting Connelly & Vogelzang, LLC.
